New Facebook Smiley – Poop Facebook Emoticon

New Facebook Smiley – Poop Facebook Emoticon

Facebook has just added a new Facebook smiley to their list of default Facebook emoticons. The new addition isn’t like the usual default Facebook smileys that the people at Facebook usually add and seems to be a joke emoticon that someone added and just left in.

The new emoticon is a picture of a comical poo with eyes and a smile. You can use the new Facebook smiley just like the regular default Facebook smileys, by typing its shortcode into the Facebook chat dialogue box.

The shortcode for the poop emoticon is simply :poop: .

As I mentioned before, the poop emoticon is now one of the default Facebook smileys. What does this mean? Well, there are three basic types of Facebook smileys and Facebook emoticons. The first are ascii codes which are just made up of characters and can be used almost anywhere, even in statuses, word documents and different websites. The second are custom smileys. These have been created by people and groups like Facebook smileys hq by using generators or other custom methods. You can use these codes by copying a series of numbers from a list (here is our list of facebook smileys) and pasting them into Facebook chat.

The poop emoticon falls into the third category, which is the default facebook smileys, and facebook emoticons created by Facebook. These are available to every one and are used by pasting or typing a shortcode (for example :poop: or :)). These smileys are more robust and some will even work in statuses and comments. See how to use facebook smileys in comments by reading this article.

Why this emoticon was added I’m not sure. If you know why tell us in the comments. Do you like the emoticon? Will you ever use it? Is it funny or just immature? Let us know in the comments. :)

Here’s a video showing someone using the :poop: emoticon:
